I drew a guide dog for a work brochure, a first because it was totally drawn on computer. The tricky part is to look at the screen while drawing with a pen on a slate gray tablet. It just doesn't feel natural. The guide dog and girl were colored in Windows XP Painter, which only has 24 colors.
I also finished cartooning class, but my final looks a little rough. It was colored in Photoshop, after the grey and black inking was scanned in. I was able to add it to this blog today (5/5/13).
At any rate, neither the guide dog nor the comic looks nearly as good as my drawing or coloring by hand, but it is a start.
